The B-G-M Bears basketball team (Brooklyn, IA), was overwhelmed 54-18 in Tuesday's league battle with the host North Mahaska Warhawks (New Sharon, IA)

The Warhawks now possess a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lynnville-Sully for a South Iowa Cedar battle on Friday, January 28. North Mahaska will battle a Hawks team coming off a 49-30 league win over H-L-V (Victor, IA). The Hawks record now stands at 9-8.

The Bears (0-14) will now prepare for their battle against Montezuma (Montezuma, IA). The Braves come into the South Iowa Cedar battle with a 12-2 record. In their last battle, Montezuma trounced Colfax-Mingo (Colfax, IA), 64-32, in a league battle.
