With the win, Wise upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Pumas host DuVal (Lanham, MD) to play the Tigers in a Prince George's County 4A bout on Thursday, January 27. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 2-0. DuVal won 72-13 in their recent league bout against High Point (Beltsville, MD)

Next up, the Bulldogs play the Laurel Spartans (Laurel, MD) in a Prince George's County 4A bout, on Thursday, January 27. Bowie will attempt to upgrade on its 2-3 season record. The Spartans go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 54-14 league loss to Eleanor Roosevelt (Greenbelt, MD).
