Virginia High School Basketball - Christiansburg tipped by Cave Spring

The Cave Spring Knights basketball team scored 48 points and held the visiting Christiansburg Blue Demons to 44 in the Knights league triumph on Tuesday.
The Knights now sport a 7-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Patrick Henry for a River Ridge contest on Friday, January 28. Cave Spring will meet a Patriots team coming off a 70-35 non-league win over Fleming (Roanoke, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 15-2.
The Blue Demons (3-10) will now prepare for their contest against Salem (Salem, VA). The Spartans enter the River Ridge contest with a 10-5 record. In their last contest, Salem nudged Hidden Valley (Roanoke, VA), 75-47, in a league contest.
