In Tuesday's league match, the visiting Center Roughriders basketball team scored a tight 53-48 triumph over the Rusk Eagles.
In their next game, the Roughriders meet the Jasper Bulldogs (Jasper, TX) in a 4A Region III District 17 match, on Friday, January 28. Center will attempt to better on its 6-13 season record. The Bulldogs enter the match with a 18-11 record after their 39-28 league win over Hudson (Lufkin, TX).
