Faith Christian Academy (Goldsboro, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hilltop Christian Chargers (Fuquay-Varina, NC), 55-41 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Faith Christian Academy upgrades its record to 9-5 on the season. The host Liberty Christian (Durham, NC) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Friday, January 28. The Patriots go into the bout with a record of 1-8. Liberty Christian lost 26-16 in their recent non-league bout against Calvary Christian (King, NC)

Next up, the Chargers play the Bethel Christian Academy Trojans (Kinston, NC) in a NCCSA AA East bout, on Friday, January 28. Hilltop Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record.
