Virginia High School Basketball - Fort Defiance thwarts Riverheads

The Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA) basketball knocked off the visiting Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA), 68-52 in Tuesday's non-league test.
The Indians (10-2) will now prepare for their test against Monroe (Stanardsville, VA). The Dragons go into the non-league test with a 6-5 record. In their last test, Monroe went down by Brentsville District (Nokesville, VA), 59-40, in a league contest.
The Gladiators (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against McCluer (Buena Vista, VA). The Fighting Blues enter the non-league contest with a 12-2 record. In their last contest, McCluer was defeated by Eastern Montgomery (Elliston, VA), 42-32, in a league contest.
