Hill-Murray Pioneers (Maplewood, MN) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Hastings Raiders (Hastings, MN), 75-52 in a league bout.

With the victory, Hill-Murray upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Tartan (Oakdale, MN) to play the Titans in a non-league bout on Friday, January 28. The Titans come into the bout with a record of 4-13. Tartan lost 57-46 in their recent non-league bout against Two Rivers (Mendota Heights, MN)

Next up, the Raiders play the Simley Spartans (Inver Grove Heights, MN) in a AAA Section 3 bout, on Friday, January 28. Hastings will attempt to upgrade on its 11-5 season record. The Spartans come into the bout with a 10-4 record after their 74-45 non-league loss to Mahtomedi (Mahtomedi, MN).
