North Carolina High School Basketball - Lee County fells Hoke County

January 25, 2022: Raeford, NC 28376

Lee County Yellow Jackets (Sanford, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Hoke County Bucks (Raeford, NC), 43-30 in a league bout.

With the win, Lee County upgrades its record to 3-10 on the season. The Yellow Jackets travel to Union Pines (Cameron, NC) to clash with the Vikings in a 3A/4A Conference 24 bout on Wednesday, January 26. The Vikings go into the bout with a record of 9-8. Union Pines lost 49-27 in their recent league bout against Pinecrest (Southern Pines, NC)

Next up, the Bucks clash with the Scotland Fighting Scots (Laurinburg, NC) in a 3A/4A Conference 24 bout, on Thursday, January 27. Hoke County will attempt to upgrade on its 1-15 season record. The Fighting Scots go into the bout with a 11-3 record after their 39-31 league win over Southern Lee (Sanford, NC).
