In Tuesday's league match, the host Oakwood Gorillas basketball team scored a tight 57-51 triumph over the Milken Wildcats.
In their next game, the Gorillas meet the Pilibos Eagles (Los Angeles, CA) in a Liberty match, on Thursday, January 27. Oakwood will attempt to better on its 10-5 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 13-5 record after their 65-54 league loss to Holy Martyrs Armenian (Encino, CA).

The Vikings enter the match with a record of 11-5. Vistamar won 27-22 in their recent non-league match against Archer School for Girls (Los Angeles, CA)
