New Providence Pioneers (New Providence, NJ) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Roselle Catholic Lions (Roselle, NJ), 56-18 in a league bout.

With the victory, New Providence upgrades its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Pioneers travel to Summit (Summit, NJ) to play the Hilltoppers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 27. The Hilltoppers come into the bout with a record of 9-3.

Next up, the Lions play the Linden Tigers (Linden, NJ) in a Union County - Valley bout, on Monday, January 31. Roselle Catholic will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record.
