Woods Charter Wolves (Chapel Hill, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Southern Wake Academy Lions (Holly Springs, NC), 65-16 in a league bout.

With the win, Woods Charter upgrades its record to 9-1 on the season. The Wolves host Triangle Math & Science (Cary, NC) to play the Tigers in a 1A Conference 13 bout on Tuesday, February 1. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 7-4.

Next up, the Lions play the Clover Garden School Grizzlies (Burlington, NC) in a 1A Conference 13 bout, on Wednesday, January 26. Southern Wake Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a 15-4 record after their 76-44 league win over Triangle Math & Science (Cary, NC).
