Pleasant Valley Vikings (Chico, CA) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting River Valley Falcons (Yuba City, CA), 43-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Pleasant Valley upgrades its record to 14-3 on the season. The Vikings host Las Plumas (Oroville, CA) to clash with the Thunderbirds in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 27. The Thunderbirds go into the bout with a record of 1-3. Las Plumas lost 33-17 in their recent non-league bout against Pleasant Valley (Chico, CA)

Next up, the Falcons clash with the Yuba City Honkers (Yuba City, CA) in a bout, on Thursday, January 27. River Valley will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Honkers go into the bout with a 1-3 record after their 47-14 league loss to River Valley (Yuba City, CA).
