Calabasas Coyotes (Calabasas, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Westlake Warriors (Westlake Village, CA), 69-60 in a league bout.

With the victory, Calabasas upgrades its record to 16-8 on the campaign. The Coyotes travel to Newbury Park (Newbury Park, CA) to play the Panthers in a Marmonte bout on Friday, January 27. The Panthers come into the bout with a record of 14-11. Newbury Park lost 67-58 in their recent league bout against Agoura (Agoura, CA)

Next up, the Warriors play the Thousand Oaks Lancers (Thousand Oaks, CA) in a Marmonte bout, on Friday, January 27. Westlake will attempt to upgrade on its 14-11 season record. The Lancers come into the bout with a 19-5 record after their 70-65 league win over Oaks Christian (Westlake Village, CA).
