In Wednesday's league outing, the Cedar Reds (Cedar City, UT) basketball squad nipped the host Hurricane Tigers (Hurricane, UT), by a margin of 62-60.
The Reds (7-8) will now prepare for their outing against Desert Hills (St. George, UT). The Thunder go into the 4A Region 10 outing with a 9-7 record. In their last outing, Desert Hills was tipped by Pine View (St. George, UT), 61-52, in a league outing.
The Tigers now own a 2-13 record. They play next when they host Dixie for a 4A Region 10 outing on Friday, January 27. Hurricane will encounter a Flyers squad coming off a 43-42 league win over Crimson Cliffs (Washington, UT). The Flyers record now stands at 16-2.
