California High School Basketball - Inglewood tops Centennial

January 25, 2023: Inglewood, CA 90301

Inglewood Sentinels (Inglewood, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Centennial Apaches (Compton, CA), 59-48 in a league bout.

With the victory, Inglewood upgrades its record to 12-10 on the campaign. The Sentinels travel to Leuzinger (Lawndale, CA) to play the Olympians in a Ocean bout on Friday, January 27. The Olympians come into the bout with a record of 17-7. Leuzinger won 70-48 in their recent league bout against Morningside (Inglewood, CA)

Next up, the Apaches play the Hawthorne Cougars (Hawthorne, CA) in a Ocean bout, on Friday, January 27. Centennial will attempt to upgrade on its 3-17 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 9-13 record after their 80-22 league loss to Beverly Hills (Beverly Hills, CA).
