New Mexico High School Basketball - Cibola ripped by Rio Rancho

The Rio Rancho Rams basketball team scored 68 points and held the visiting Cibola Cougars to 45 in the Rams league triumph on Wednesday.

The Rams now sport a 14-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Volcano Vista for a 5A District 1 contest on Friday, January 27. Rio Rancho will battle a Hawks team coming off a 53-50 league loss to Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM). The Hawks record now stands at 18-1.

The Cougars (3-18) will now prepare for their contest against Cleveland (Rio Rancho, NM). The Storm enter the 5A District 1 contest with a 15-5 record. In their last contest, Cleveland triumphed over Atrisco Heritage Academy (Albuquerque, NM), 80-62, in a league contest.
