The St. John's Catholic Prep Vikings basketball team (Buckeystown, MD), was nudged 46-44 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Concordia Prep Saints (Towson, MD)
The Saints now possess a 2-8 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to St. Mary's for a MIAA B battle on Friday, January 27. Concordia Prep will battle a Saints team coming off a 54-52 league win over Chapelgate Christian Academy (Marriottsville, MD). The Saints record now stands at 13-6.
The Vikings (9-12) will now prepare for their battle against Archbishop Curley (Baltimore, MD). The Friars come into the MIAA B battle with a 7-11 record. In their last battle, Archbishop Curley edged St. John's Catholic Prep (Buckeystown, MD), 64-59, in a league battle.
