The Deer Park Deer basketball team scored 66 points and held the visiting Pasadena Eagles to 55 in the Deer league triumph on Wednesday.
The Deer now sport a 21-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Pasadena Memorial for a 6A Region III District 22 contest on Saturday, January 28. Deer Park will meet a Mavericks team coming off a 48-42 league win over Dobie (Houston, TX). The Mavericks record now stands at 19-10.
The Eagles (24-5) will now prepare for their contest against Pasadena Memorial (Pasadena, TX). The Mavericks enter the 6A Region III District 22 contest with a 19-11 record. In their last contest, Pasadena Memorial was outscored by Deer Park (Deer Park, TX), 55-51, in a league contest.
