Maine High School Basketball - Penquis Valley ripped by Dexter

The Dexter Tigers basketball team scored 62 points and held the visiting Penquis Valley Patriots to 34 in the Tigers league triumph on Wednesday.
The Tigers now sport a 12-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Piscataquis for a C North contest on Friday, January 27. Dexter will meet a Pirates team coming off a 56-45 league loss to Central (East Corinth, ME). The Pirates record now stands at 5-7.
The Patriots (5-7) will now prepare for their contest against Stearns (Millinocket, ME). The Minutemen enter the C North contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Stearns triumphed over Central (East Corinth, ME), 59-48, in a league contest.
