The Marmaduke Greyhounds basketball team scored 60 points and held the visiting Earle Bulldogs to 45 in the Greyhounds league triumph on Wednesday.

The Greyhounds now sport a 12-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rector for a 2A Region 3 contest on Friday, January 27. Marmaduke will battle a Cougars team coming off a 51-40 league win over Riverside (Lake City, AR). The Cougars record now stands at 15-3.

The Bulldogs (5-9) will now prepare for their bout against Buffalo Island Central (Monette, AR). The Mustangs come into the 2A Region 3 bout with a 14-6 record. In their last bout, Buffalo Island Central was knocked off by East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR), 73-55, in a league bout.
