In Wednesday's league outing, the Mark Morris Monarchs (Longview, WA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Fort Vancouver Trappers (Vancouver, WA), by a margin of 91-37.
The Monarchs (16-1) will now prepare for their outing against Kelso (Kelso, WA). The Hilanders go into the non-league outing with a 9-7 record. In their last outing, Kelso smashed Battle Ground (Battle Ground, WA), 104-94, in a non-league outing.
The Trappers now own a 0-17 record. They play next when they travel to Hockinson for a 2A Greater St. Helens outing on Friday, January 27. Fort Vancouver will clash with a Hawks squad coming off a 71-40 league loss to Woodland (Woodland, WA). The Hawks record now stands at 4-12.
