Maryland High School Basketball - Glenelg nips Oakland Mills

Glenelg Gladiators (Glenelg, MD) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Oakland Mills Scorpions (Columbia, MD), 43-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Glenelg upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Gladiators travel to Marriotts Ridge (Marriottsville, MD) to play the in a Howard County bout on Monday, January 30. The go into the bout with a record of 4-9. Marriotts Ridge won 63-61 in their recent league bout against Atholton (Columbia, MD)

Next up, the Scorpions play the Long Reach Lightning (Columbia, MD) in a Howard County bout, on Friday, January 27. Oakland Mills will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Lightning go into the bout with a 11-2 record after their 56-50 league win over Centennial (Ellicott City, MD).
