Healdsburg Greyhounds (Healdsburg, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting St. Vincent de Paul Mustangs (Petaluma, CA), 48-36 in a league bout.

With the win, Healdsburg upgrades its record to 13-9 on the season. The Greyhounds travel to Rancho Cotate (Rohnert Park, CA) to clash with the Cougars in a North Bay - Redwood bout on Saturday, January 28. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 10-13. Rancho Cotate lost 47-41 in their recent league bout against Ukiah (Ukiah, CA)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Maria Carrillo Pumas (Santa Rosa, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 27. St. Vincent de Paul will attempt to upgrade on its 7-12 season record. The Pumas go into the bout with a 5-16 record after their 48-25 league loss to Cardinal Newman (Santa Rosa, CA).
