The Kinder Yellowjackets basketball team (Kinder, LA), was overwhelmed 75-23 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Iowa Yellowjackets (Iowa, LA)
The Yellowjackets now possess a 20-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Beauregard for a 3A District 3 battle on Friday, January 27. Iowa will confront a Knights team coming off a 57-43 league loss to St. Louis Catholic (Lake Charles, LA). The Knights record now stands at 17-7.
The Yellowjackets (4-11) will now prepare for their battle against Jennings (Jennings, LA). The Bulldogs come into the 3A District 3 battle with a 3-13 record. In their last battle, Jennings was overwhelmed by Comeaux (Lafayette, LA), 72-60, in a non-league battle.
