The Jordan Panthers basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the visiting Long Beach Poly Jackrabbits to 48 in the Panthers league victory on Wednesday.

The Panthers now sport a 15-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Woodrow Wilson for a Moore contest on Friday, January 27. Jordan will battle a Bruins team coming off a 58-52 league win over Lakewood (Lakewood, CA). The Bruins record now stands at 16-9.

The Jackrabbits (9-15) will now prepare for their contest against Cabrillo (Long Beach, CA). The Jaguars come into the Moore contest with a 13-12 record. In their last contest, Cabrillo was defeated by Millikan (Long Beach, CA), 67-57, in a league contest.
