California High School Basketball - Kennedy edges Taft

The Kennedy Thunderbirds (Delano, CA) basketball nipped the host Taft Wildcats (Taft, CA), 67-63 in Wednesday's league test.

The Thunderbirds (16-7) will now prepare for their test against Delano (Delano, CA). The Tigers go into the South Sequoia test with a 5-17 record. In their last test, Delano was tipped by Taft (Taft, CA), 55-35, in a league test.

The Wildcats now own a 7-13 record. They play next when they travel to Shafter for a South Sequoia test on Friday, January 27. Taft will encounter a Generals squad coming off a 55-53 league loss to Chavez (Delano, CA). The Generals record now stands at 11-12.
