The Shelby Golden Lions tipped the visiting Kings Mountain Mountaineers basketball team by a final score of 52-49 in Wednesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Golden Lions face the Highland Tech Rams (Gastonia, NC) in a 1A/2A Conference 40 game, on Friday, January 27. Shelby will attempt to move on its 12-5 season record. The Rams enter the game with a 5-12 record after their 77-40 league loss to Burns (Lawndale, NC).
