The Orangeburg Prep Indians basketball team (Orangeburg, SC), was nudged 58-51 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Laurence Manning Academy Swampcats (Manning, SC)
The Swampcats now possess a 8-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heathwood Hall Episcopal for a non-league battle on Friday, January 27. Laurence Manning Academy will confront a Highlanders team coming off a 45-44 non-league win over Wilson Hall (Sumter, SC). The Highlanders record now stands at 6-15.
The Indians (6-11) will now prepare for their battle against Thomas Sumter Academy (Dalzell, SC). The Generals come into the SCISA AAA Region IV battle with a 2-10 record. In their last battle, Thomas Sumter Academy was nudged by King's Academy (Florence, SC), 47-36, in a non-league battle.
