Lee Academy Pandas (Lee, ME) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Stearns Minutemen (Millinocket, ME), 54-48 in a league bout.

With the win, Lee Academy upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Pandas travel to Penobscot Valley (Howland, ME) to clash with the Howlers in a C North bout on Friday, January 27. The Howlers go into the bout with a record of 7-6. Penobscot Valley won 41-34 in their recent league bout against Penquis Valley (Milo, ME)

Next up, the Minutemen clash with the Central Red Devils (East Corinth, ME) in a C North bout, on Friday, January 27. Stearns will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Red Devils go into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 56-45 league win over Piscataquis (Guilford, ME).
