Noble Knights (Berwick, ME) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Massabesic Mustangs (Waterboro, ME), 75-56 in a league bout.

With the win, Noble upgrades its record to 5-7 on the season. The Knights travel to Sanford (Sanford, ME) to clash with the Spartans in a AA South bout on Saturday, January 28. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 5-7. Sanford won 62-57 in their recent non-league bout against Kennebunk (Kennebunk, ME)

Next up, the Mustangs clash with the Gorham Rams (Gorham, ME) in a AA South bout, on Saturday, January 28. Massabesic will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Rams go into the bout with a 9-4 record after their 62-46 league win over Bonny Eagle (Standish, ME).
