The Anchorage Christian Lions basketball team scored 60 points and held the host Soldotna Stars to 52 in the Lions league triumph on Wednesday.

The Lions now sport a 5-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kenai Central for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 26. Anchorage Christian will battle a Kardinals team coming off a 60-28 league win over Seward (Seward, AK). The Kardinals record now stands at 8-3.

The Stars (2-10) will now prepare for their contest against Juneau-Douglas (Juneau, AK). The Crimson Bears enter the non-league contest with a 7-6 record. In their last contest, Juneau-Douglas ran past South Anchorage (Anchorage, AK), 67-40, in a non-league contest.
