North Valley Military Institute Hawks (Sun Valley, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Valley Oaks CES Vanguards (Sun Valley, CA), 50-38 in a league bout.

With the win, North Valley Military Institute upgrades its record to 9-16 on the season. The Hawks travel to Community Charter (Lakeview Terrace, CA) to clash with the Titans in a North Valley bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 1-5.

Next up, the Vanguards clash with the Community Charter Titans (Lakeview Terrace, CA) in a North Valley bout, on Friday, January 27. Valley Oaks CES will attempt to upgrade on its 2-10 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 67-19 league loss to Triumph Charter (Sylmar, CA).
