The O'Donnell Eagles basketball team scored 65 points and held the visiting Wilson Mustangs to 23 in the Eagles league triumph on Wednesday.

The Eagles now sport a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Crosbyton for a 1A Region I District 6 contest on Friday, January 27. O'Donnell will battle a Chiefs team coming off a 62-35 league loss to Lorenzo (Lorenzo, TX). The Chiefs record now stands at 7-9.

The Mustangs (7-22) will now prepare for their contest against Petersburg (Petersburg, TX). The Buffaloes enter the 1A Region I District 6 contest with a 5-8 record.
