In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Sundown Roughnecks basketball team scored a decisive 63-26 triumph over the Post Antelopes.

In their next game, the Roughnecks meet the New Home Leopards (New Home, TX) in a 2A Region I District 5 match, on Friday, January 27. Sundown will attempt to move on its 6-10 season record. The Leopards enter the match with a 13-7 record after their 82-26 league win over Post (Post, TX).
