Buena Bulldogs (Ventura, CA) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host San Marcos Royals (Santa Barbara, CA), 38-35 in a league bout.

With the win, Buena upgrades its record to 4-4 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Oxnard (Oxnard, CA) to play the Yellowjackets in a bout on Wednesday, February 1. The Yellowjackets go into the bout with a record of 13-4.

Next up, the Royals play the Santa Barbara Dons (Santa Barbara, CA) in a bout, on Friday, January 27. San Marcos will attempt to upgrade on its 7-16 season record. The Dons go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 84-52 league loss to Oxnard (Oxnard, CA).
