Lehigh Lightning (Lehigh Acres, FL) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Gateway Eagles (Fort Myers, FL), 59-53 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Lehigh upgrades its record to 4-0 on the season.
Next up, the Eagles play the Island Coast Gators (Cape Coral, FL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 25. Gateway will attempt to upgrade on its 5-4 season record. The Gators go into the bout with a 2-2 record after their 45-43 non-league win over East Lee County (Lehigh Acres, FL).
