Ohio High School Basketball - Boardman can't hold off Austintown-Fitch

The Austintown-Fitch Falcons basketball team scored 58 points and held the host Boardman Spartans to 51 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Falcons now sport a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Harding for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 28. Austintown-Fitch will battle a Raiders team coming off a 44-34 non-league loss to Howland (Warren, OH). The Raiders record now stands at 8-11.
The Spartans (10-7) will now prepare for their contest against Canfield (Canfield, OH). The Cardinals enter the non-league contest with a 15-1 record. In their last contest, Canfield nudged Austintown-Fitch (Youngstown, OH), 57-51, in a league contest.
