Louisiana High School Basketball - Pickering falls to Avoyelles

In Wednesday's league match, the visiting Avoyelles Mustangs basketball team scored a good 30-15 triumph over the Pickering Red Devils.

In their next game, the Mustangs meet the Oakdale Warriors (Oakdale, LA) in a 2A District 4 match, on Friday, January 27. Avoyelles will attempt to move on its 19-6 season record. The Warriors enter the match with a 14-9 record after their 66-38 league loss to Rosepine (Rosepine, LA).

With the defeat, Pickering moves to 1-20 on the year. The Red devils host Holy Savior Menard (Alexandria, LA) to meet the Eagles in a 2A District 4 match on Friday, January 27. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 23-3. Holy Savior Menard won 72-66 in their recent league match against Oakdale (Oakdale, LA)
