Bullitt East Chargers (Mt. Washington, KY) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY), 54-38 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Bullitt East upgrades its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Meade County (Brandenburg, KY) to play the Green Waves in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 31. The Green Waves come into the bout with a record of 14-8. Meade County lost 61-38 in their recent non-league bout against Sacred Heart (Louisville, KY)

Next up, the Warriors play the Bullitt Central Cougars (Shepherdsville, KY) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Southwestern will attempt to upgrade on its 12-9 season record. The Cougars come into the bout with a 13-6 record after their 45-12 non-league loss to DuPont Manual (Louisville, KY).
