Florida High School Basketball - Gulf routs Central

January 25, 2023: New Port Richey, FL 34652

In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Gulf Buccaneers (New Port Richey, FL) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Central Bears (Brooksville, FL), by a margin of 57-17.

The Buccaneers (15-8) will now prepare for their outing against Sunlake (Land O' Lakes, FL). The Seahawks go into the non-league outing with a 13-6 record. In their last outing, Sunlake smashed Fivay (Hudson, FL), 59-14, in a non-league outing.

The Bears now own a 1-18 record. They play next when they travel to Hudson for a 4A District 9 outing on Thursday, January 26. Central will clash with a Cobras squad coming off a 55-22 non-league loss to Cypress Creek (Wesley Chapel, FL). The Cobras record now stands at 1-18.
