The Ritchie County Rebels basketball team (Ellenboro, WV), was nudged 52-48 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the host Gilmer County Titans (Glenville, WV)

The Titans now possess a 8-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Tucker County for a non-league battle on Friday, January 27. Gilmer County will confront a Mountain Lions team coming off a 65-22 league win over Pocahontas County (Dunmore, WV). The Mountain Lions record now stands at 11-1.

The Rebels (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against Magnolia (New Martinsville, WV). The Blue Eagles come into the non-league battle with a 3-8 record. In their last battle, Magnolia was nudged by River (Hannibal, OH), 57-24, in a non-league battle.
