The Goose Creek Memorial Patriots (Baytown, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Nederland Bulldogs (Nederland, TX), 44-13 in Wednesday's league test.
The Patriots (7-13) will now prepare for their test against Barbers Hill (Mt. Belvieu, TX). The Eagles go into the 5A Region III District 17 test with a 26-5 record. In their last test, Barbers Hill walloped Port Arthur Memorial (Port Arthur, TX), 70-34, in a league test.
The Bulldogs now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they travel to Crosby for a 5A Region III District 17 test on Friday, January 27. Nederland will encounter a Cougars squad coming off a 77-47 league win over Port Neches-Groves (Port Neches, TX). The Cougars record now stands at 17-14.
