Virginia High School Basketball - Hidden Valley can't hold off William Byrd

The William Byrd Terriers basketball team scored 37 points and restricted the host Hidden Valley Titans to 35 in the Terriers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Terriers now sport a 2-16 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Staunton River for a Blue Ridge contest on Saturday, January 28. William Byrd will battle a Golden Eagles team coming off a 42-35 league loss to Franklin County (Rocky Mount, VA). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-17.
The Titans (3-16) will now prepare for their contest against Pulaski County (Dublin, VA). The Cougars come into the River Ridge contest with a 15-3 record. In their last contest, Pulaski County edged Princeton (Princeton, WV), 52-27, in a non-league contest.
