The Loudoun County Captains basketball team (Leesburg, VA), was nudged 41-35 in Wednesday's league battle with the host Lightridge Bolts (Aldie, VA)
The Bolts now possess a 9-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Broad Run for a Dulles battle on Friday, January 27. Lightridge will confront a Spartans team coming off a 32-25 league win over Heritage (Leesburg, VA). The Spartans record now stands at 10-8.
The Captains (2-12) will now prepare for their battle against Tuscarora (Leesburg, VA). The Huskies come into the Dulles battle with a 14-2 record. In their last battle, Tuscarora edged Rock Ridge (Ashburn, VA), 61-9, in a league battle.
