McDonogh Eagles (Owings Mills, MD) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Pallotti Panthers (Laurel, MD), 61-33 in a league bout.

With the win, McDonogh upgrades its record to 17-2 on the season. The Eagles travel to St. Frances Academy (Baltimore, MD) to play the Panthers in a IAAM A bout on Monday, January 30. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 17-2. St. Frances Academy won 55-35 in their recent league bout against Our Lady of Mount Carmel (Baltimore, MD)

Next up, the Panthers play the TPLS Christian Academy Lions (Richmond, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 28. Pallotti will attempt to upgrade on its 14-7 season record. The Lions go into the bout with a 6-13 record after their 53-44 non-league loss to Winston-Salem Christian (Winston-Salem, NC).
