In Wednesday's non-league outing, the Woodbury Royals (Woodbury, MN) basketball squad edged the visiting Mounds View Mustangs (Arden Hills, MN), by a margin of 51-48.

The Royals (5-12) will now prepare for their outing against Stillwater (Stillwater, MN). The Ponies go into the AAAA Section 4 outing with a 13-3 record. In their last outing, Stillwater held off Cretin-Derham Hall (St. Paul, MN), 72-44, in a league outing.

The Mustangs now own a 8-8 record. They play next when they host Irondale for a AAAA Section 5 outing on Friday, January 27. Mounds View will clash with a Knights squad coming off a 55-41 non-league loss to Forest Lake (Forest Lake, MN). The Knights record now stands at 2-18.
