Anchorage Christian Lions (Anchorage, AK) backers were in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Soldotna Stars (Soldotna, AK), 74-21 in a league bout.

With the win, Anchorage Christian upgrades its record to 6-2 on the season. The Lions travel to Kenai Central (Kenai, AK) to play the Kardinals in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 26. The Kardinals go into the bout with a record of 11-0. Kenai Central won 39-26 in their recent league bout against Seward (Seward, AK)

Next up, the Stars play the Juneau-Douglas Crimson Bears (Juneau, AK) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 26. Soldotna will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Crimson Bears go into the bout with a 7-2 record after their 36-30 league win over Ketchikan (Ketchikan, AK).
