Texas High School Basketball - Vidor knocked off by West Orange-Stark

The West Orange-Stark Mustangs basketball team scored 34 points and held the host Vidor Pirates to 17 in the Mustangs league triumph on Wednesday.
The Mustangs now sport a 5-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Lumberton for a 4A Region III District 19 contest on Friday, January 27. West Orange-Stark will battle a Raiders team coming off a 66-63 league win over Jasper (Jasper, TX). The Raiders record now stands at 12-14.
The Pirates (10-14) will now prepare for their contest against Silsbee (Silsbee, TX). The Tigers enter the 4A Region III District 19 contest with a 22-3 record. In their last contest, Silsbee ran past Bridge City (Bridge City, TX), 65-35, in a league contest.
