The American Eagles basketball team scored 38 points and held the visiting Irvington Vikings to 24 in the Eagles league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now sport a 8-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Newark Memorial for a contest on Friday, January 27. American will battle a Cougars team coming off a 46-25 league loss to Moreau Catholic (Hayward, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 10-8.
The Vikings (3-8) will now prepare for their contest against Kennedy (Fremont, CA). The Titans enter the contest with a 1-8 record.
