San Fernando Tigers (San Fernando, CA) backers were pleased Wednesday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Kennedy Cougars (Granada Hills, CA), 26-20 in a league bout.

With the victory, San Fernando upgrades its record to 10-4 on the campaign. The Tigers host Canoga Park (Canoga Park, CA) to encounter the Hunters in a test on Friday, January 27. The Hunters go into the test with a record of 1-5. Canoga Park lost 19-8 in their recent league test against Sylmar (Sylmar, CA)

The Cougars now own a 11-3 record. They play next when they travel to Reseda for a test on Thursday, January 26. Kennedy will encounter a Regents squad coming off a 40-20 league loss to Van Nuys (Van Nuys, CA). The Regents record now stands at 0-7.
